Investment Economics is a foundational course aimed at undergraduate students and is one of the core courses in the Investment Studies major. It serves as a bridge connecting core required courses such as Investment Studies, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics. This course, based on multidisciplinary economic theories and the practical investment experience in China, discusses the fundamental laws, inherent mechanisms, and existing issues of investment's impact on economic and social development. Through systematic learning, students will understand the crucial role of investment in driving economic growth, promoting technological advancement, and optimizing resource allocation. They will also analyze the economic and social effects of investment decisions. The course covers various fields, including macro investment, industrial investment, sectoral investment, infrastructure investment, regional investment, urbanization investment, economic transformation and service sector investment, and human capital investment. It aims to develop students' comprehensive analytical skills and practical application abilities from a "large investment" perspective.
