The courses choose private capital markets as the main contents, and introduce what is private equity and venture capital by theories and practical examples. Its main contents are as follows:

1 An overview of private equity and venture capital concepts, the development history of venture capital in China, compared with U.S. venture capital,

2 Introducing the organization of venture capital and private equity, including the principal-agent problem between investors and venture capitalists,and it related to adverse selection, moral hazard and so on,

3 Introducing the venture capital process ,the investment and financing methods, including the valuation models of companies, net cash flow analysis methods,

4 Connection with China Growth Enterprise Market, introducing examples of venture capital and development in China, as well as the relevant laws and regulations of venture capital.

5 A lot of case studies and analysis are included.

The course not only focuses on theory, but also applies the theory of private equity and venture capital with case studies, which is conducive to students' practical application of investment practices.
